About Me!
I was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 19, 1955, to Leo and Mary Simoneau. I have four brothers and a sister. They are in order of birth: Leo, Dennis, myself, John, Kenny, and Mary Rita.
At the age of seventeen, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and underwent rigorous training as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of traveling extensively across the globe. By the time I retired twenty years later, I had dedicated over half of my life to serving in uniform.
Following my discharge from the Marine Corps in 1992, I commenced my academic journey at the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT). In 1994, I successfully obtained my Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming Technology. Subsequently, I pursued and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from NEIT in 1996. Over the past 15+ years, I have achieved remarkable success as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Notably, in 2018, I acquired my Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) from American Intercontinental University.
Currently residing in Johnston, Rhode Island, I am married to my beloved wife, Jo-Ann. We have six wonderful children, each in order of their birth: Robert, Dawn, Barbara, Mary, Julia, and Craig. These children are the cornerstone of my life. Regrettably, I find myself unable to spend sufficient time with my seven beautiful grandchildren.
